Luis Sanz, Director General of International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), has accepted the invitation of the Hungarian Association of Science and Technology Parks (HASP) to visit Hungary during 13-16 January, 2019.
As part of the program, Mr. Sanz and the Association of Science and Technology Parks (TTPSZ) visited the ÉMI Szentendre Science and Technology Park.
Mr. Sanz was welcomed by Márton Dauner, CEO of ÉMI and Ferenc Kassai, President of the Budapest and Pest County Chamber of Engineering, Vice President of the Hungarian Chamber of Engineering.
The park and the planned developments of ÉMI for the near future were presented by Márton Dauner CEO and Adrienn Buday-Malik, Development Director of ÉMI.
The key event of this year is the Solar Decathlon Europe 2019 International Innovation Competition, where 15 teams from 43 universities are building a so-called Sample House Park, with high-tech innovation solutions.
According to Ferenc Kassai, Hungarian creativity and technical innovation have always come together. Apart from the latest technologies, the Budapest and Pest County Chamber of Engineering has created the Creative Hungary Engineering Knowledge – Past, Present, Future exhibition to be visited by the delegation.
According to Luis Sanz, ÉMI’s ideas are clear and well-presented. He stated that both the resources and opportunities are given to implement the future plans.
